We invite you to join us in two different Christmas Outreach opportunities this year!
OUTREACH ONE: DONATE WINTER CLOTHING ITEMS TO CHILDREN, TEENS AND ADULTS
In partnership with “The Well” (a church plant in Detroit, which is an extension of KCC) we will distribute cold weather gear to a local neighborhood on Saturday, December 14. A team from KCC will travel to Detroit to link up with Pastor Michael Newton for an outreach event. We are asking you to purchase and provide winter gear for kids and adults of all ages and sizes [Coats, boots, gloves, mittens, Etc.] You can drop off your donation in the big wooden “gift Box” that is located out in the Atrium by the large Christmas tree.
OUTREACH TWO: CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR COMMUNITY FAMILIES IN NEED
We will be walking beside 20 Kentwood families (many who are refugees) to provide a Christmas blessing this season. We are asking for your help in providing the needs and gifts for these families. You can pick up an individual “Giving Card” which will contain all the information for the family member that needs to be purchased for on a table in the Atrium. The purchased gifts AND the card can be returned to the church office or to one of the Christmas Containers located throughout the building.
Giving Cards will be available on Sundays, November 24, December 1, and December 8.
Gifts can be dropped off no later than December 12.
There will be an opportunity to wrap the gifts on Sunday, December 15 after the service.
