Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jonathan Eig joins Kenilworth Union Church’s Reverend Dr. Bill Evertsberg for a conversation about “King: A Life.” This New York Times best-selling biography of Martin Luther King, Jr., published in 2023, provides new and important insights into the civil rights icon’s complexities and fresh revelations from recently released FBI files. Tuesday, October 1 represents a unique opportunity to hear directly from Jonathan in a small setting, including highlights from his extensive book tour and King-related media appearances.

We are thrilled to bring the expertise of five local experts to provide parents the latest in trends, approaches, and actions you can take to help your teen navigate these difficult times. The experts provided an overview of each challenge—anxiety/depression, trauma/grief/loss, substance abuse, and eating disorders/self-harm—including what to look out for, alternate means of addressing, and where to go for help.
