January 24, 2021 • Pastor Eric Jaffe

In today's message we take a look at two of the trees that God planted in the garden of Eden. The Tree of Life which bears good fruit and eternal life vs the tree of the knowledge of good and evil which yields nothing but shame and death. Which tree will you choose to set up camp under?

Two Trees and a Cross

April 4, 2021 • Pastor Eric Jaffe

In todays message Pastor Eric shares the Story of Jesus’ Resurrection by going back to the beginning of the book of Genesis to take a look at what God created us for. Where did things go wrong and how can things be made right yet again? God answers all of these questions in His word and todays message is meant to remind us of the goodness and majesty of our King that we might marvel in, serve, and life for Him.

Perseverance

On a day that we recognize as Palm Sunday - many gathered for the triumphal entry of Jesus. Shouting Hosanna, Hosanna… which literally means “Please Save Us!” It becomes clear that many in the crowd were shouting not because they saw him as savior to their sin, but savior against Roman rule. But when they discover Jesus’ intentions was not to overthrow Rome, we see how quickly they QUIT on him. When things didn’t play out how they expected it or how they thought it would be – they gave up believing He was who He says He was. Sometimes we are much like the people in the crowd shouting Hosanna – save us lord, save us, save us NOW! We are too ready to quit, we are too ready give up. We quit on what Jesus is doing, much like many of his followers that we read of on this holy week, when it seems what he is doing doesn’t line up with what we want and when we want it. We don’t preserver.

How do I get the Anointing of God?

March 21, 2021 • Pastor Eric Jaffe

In this message we study the incredible transformation of Jacob to Israel. Jacob’s name meant deceiver and in the early days of his life he often lived up to that. Yet God taught him much over the years and there came a defining moment where he had a wrestling match with God and refused to let go until God blessed him and revealed his destiny. At that moment God renamed him Israel and he would take on that great heritage promised to his grandfather Abraham of being a leader of God’s people. God has an anointing and a call on each of our lives. We need to hold tight and not let go until he reveals it.
