Significant Responsibility

Week 3

November 17, 2019 • Pastor Eric Jaffe

Do you want to supercharge your faith? Then 3 things are absolutely necessary. Authentic Faith, Significant Responsibility, and To the Ends of the Earth. In todays message we will share about how taking on significant responsibility deepens our relationships with Jesus. What is significant responsibility? Well a lot of it surrounds serving both inside and outside the walls of the church. It’s like on the job training. We learn more by what is caught than what is taught.

Authentic Faith

November 10, 2019 • Pastor Eric Jaffe

After Jesus’ resurrection when the Kingdom of God had been ushered in and he was now handing it over to the disciples, he would appear to them on many occasions. They weren’t the same disciples as he had before the resurrection. They were beginning to bring the words he promised them into reality. They were now citizens of the Kingdom of God and that was based on the authentic faith that included seeing all of their history through the light of the Gospel that was now complete and in their hands. But, as Jesus demonstrates through his encounter with the disciples on the road to Emmaus, he’s not just interested in their head knowledge, but their heart relationship also. In this message we talk about what authentic faith is all about.

Taking Back the Next Generation

November 3, 2019 • Pastor Kevin Neville

The church of North America seems to be in a decline. We are losing the next generation at a rate that hasn’t been seen in this nation. It has been stated that over 80% of youth will leave the church by the age of 18. Despite political claims for or against, the post- christendom statue of culture is pointing to a decline in the church and a increase in secular foundations. Should the church panic? What do we do? The answer isn’t found in slick strategy or a flashy approach, but rather going back to the core attraction that found the early church growth in the midst of a clearly pagan society. The answer is digging to to roots of Christ’s church using the drawl of the gospel of the Kingdom of God. What is fundamental in the hearts of the next generation that is deeper than our media, technology and culture? What are they really craving that Christ, and his church are offering?
