"Keep believing in the Son of God," Jesus Christ, is essential to the Christian faith. It might seem straightforward and obvious, but believing in Jesus Christ is met with a lot of opposition in an unbelieving world. Jesus said in John 16:9 that the sin of the world is unbelief, so we need encouragement every day because it's hard to remain faithful. We have a race to run. It's the same for each person, with the same purpose - to keep our faith in Jesus Christ, and the reward is also the same. But each person has their own, unique individual work to do in that race. It's called "the work of the evangelist." At the heart of things, we are all to bring our Savior and a knowledge of Him to this world and the people in this world.
