1. How have you seen God pursue relationship with you? 2. What relationships have you had in your own life that encourage you to “Entrust” to others? 3. What does discipleship look like in your life? Who are you responsible for? 4. How can you be more intentional in pursuing relationships that advance the gospel? 5. Who do you identify with more; the soldier; the athlete; the farmer? 6. How can you find ways to encourage the pastors and elders who have been charged to “entrust” the gospel to you in their work? - - - - - - - - - Here are the prayers that Sean encouraged us to pray for our pastors/elders: That they would be strengthened by the grace that is Jesus. That their identity would be rooted in his grace and not their works, in his approval and not man's That they would learn obedience as they share in suffering for the sheep. That they would be single-minded and focused on the job for which they have been enlisted. As athletes, that they would be disciplined in their work. That they would excel in training in righteousness and their progress would be evident to all. As farmers, that they would be hard-working and and compensated appropriately. That they would be patient and not grow weary of doing good.
