Great music. Real stories. A night to celebrate freedom, hope, and a fresh start.
Join us at Phoenix Park for Sober October-Fest 2026, a high-energy evening of live music, dancing, and powerful stories of lives being changed. From 3:00–6:00pm at the Phoenix Park amphitheater—the same riverfront stage that comes alive each summer for Sounds Like Summer—we’re bringing the community together for a celebration you won’t want to miss.
Headlining the evening will be Eau Claire’s own The Shillelagh Lads, a spirited traditional Irish band known for turning every performance into an inclusive, hand-clapping, toe-tapping celebration. Led by longtime regional performers Michael Rambo and Michael VanHemert, the Lads blend authentic Irish musical stylings with playful humor, lively crowd participation and an unmistakable love for people and God. Come ready to get up, move, and dance as live music fills the park throughout the evening.
Between sets, you’ll hear honest, powerful testimonies from people who have experienced recovery, freedom, and new life. Their stories will also introduce Celebrate Recovery at Jacob’s Well, launching this fall as a place for anyone ready to find freedom and healing from the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that can keep us stuck.
Whether recovery is part of your story, you’re supporting someone you love, or you just want to enjoy an incredible evening of music in downtown Eau Claire, you’re invited!
Sober October-Fest is sponsored by Jacob’s Well and Kwik Trip and Celebrate Recovery. Come for the music. Stay for the stories. Discover what freedom can sound like!
