Can I trust the Bible? This teaching will show how the Bible stands alone as an ancient document and is unique among sacred texts.

Why Do I Need The Bible?

Maybe the Bible is an important book with a lot of spiritual guidance and wisdom, but is it absolutely necessary? Yes - while scripture is not the only means God uses to communicate with us, it is the most preeminent. In the Bible, God communicates to humanity a permanent word that doesn't change with cultural tides and isn't subjective to individual experience, but continues to be living word that speaks and transforms throughout generations. This teaching will show how the Bible provides foundational truth and personal stability in an ever-changing world.
How Does The Bible Change Us?

We have said that the Bible is the Word of God and the way in which he communicates to man. If this is true, then the Bible isn't simply information, but is actually a living word. As we read the Bible, it also reads us. The church in Thessalonica is an example of how the Word of God changes people. When they received it they found new character, new joy, and a new purpose.
