Psalms 23 A Psalm of David
YeHoVaH[1] is my shepherd; I shall not lack.
He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me to waters of rest.
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil, for You are with me.
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table for me before ones vexing me;
You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life, and I shall dwell
in the house of YeHoVaH for as long as my days.
This is among the most quoted Psalms and scriptures in the Bible. It is also among the more powerful testimonies in the courts of heaven. Sages have written about this Psalm being the embodiment of the covenant that Yahovah has kept with David. It is said that Yahovah remembers His covenant with David forever.
I have found that there is breakthrough potential in praying, declaring and intervening with this 23rd Psalm. It tends to open doors (portals) that no one can close.[2]
[1] The Name: YHWH, spelled with Hebrew letters: Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey and should be pronounced YeHoVaH. This name is generally hidden behind the word LORD. We place uppercase letters that represent the four consonants of His Name.
