*This Is A Powerful Time To Hear God*

Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year, and it is the Hebrew year 5783, for those who are counting. It begins at sundown on Sunday, September 25, 2022, and ends at nightfall on Tuesday, September 27.

We are no longer under the Jewish Law of Moses, but God still uses the Jewish calendar to speak seasonally. This is the time, historically, that the Lord begins to reveal your assignment for the upcoming year.

*Ancient Paths*

God is opening deep revelation—also known in the Bible as the ancient paths.

*This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”* Jeremiah 6:16–17 NIV

The Lord is opening the “ancient paths” to those who want to go deeper in intimacy and higher in spiritual wisdom, revelation and understanding.

Your suffering and dark nights of the soul are coming to an end.

For those who want this, *“... ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.” *

There is a season of rest coming, but you will not need to battle to get to it. Sometimes you have to labor to enter into the rest of the Lord, but the Lord is calling you to rest right now. You can still work and pray, but a shift in the spiritual atmosphere is here, and it will become easier to hear the Lord.

*Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest.* Hebrews 4:11 KJV

*How To Move At The Speed Of Peace*

The Lord is calling some people to step up right now to contend and battle for what is coming. As you come into agreement with the Lord and others in prayer, you can battle from a place of rest. The time of rest will come after the first of January.

*But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.* Isaiah 40:31 NKJV

The Lord is sending you new, supernatural strength and there is a major impartation of refreshment available right now.

*What Is The Ancient Path?*

The ancient paths in the Bible are revelation and the understanding of things that have been previously hidden or sealed. It is similar to what Jesus mentions a few times …

*I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.* Matthew 13:35 NIV

The Lord is revealing and unsealing revelation and wisdom that have been in the Bible all along, but suddenly, it will make sense and apply to your current situation.

The Lord is raising up people who will be willing to take the “ancient path” or reconnect with a new way of hearing the Lord that is different than the popular messages that are being heard in the world today.

This does not mean that you go back to the old-time-religion preaching of hell and trying to scare people into conversions. Instead, the Lord is calling people to find a new sound and language to connect the Lord’s love to the generations.

*Callings Laid Down Are Now Available*

*But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ I appointed watchmen over you and said, ‘Listen to the sound of the trumpet!’ But you said, ‘We will not listen.’* Jeremiah 6:16–17

The Lord is bringing some changes, and He is shifting some of the gifts and callings to give some of you a rest—and others need a change to move in new power and authority.

*Changes In People Who Pray*

*I will stand at my watch and station myself on the ramparts; I will look to see what he will say to me, and what answer I am to give to this complaint. *
Habakkuk 2:1 NIV

We have suffered some losses with the pandemic and surges of violence. But this is Heaven’s amazing gain. Even though we lost a lot of people who pray and intercede with the retired, elderly and mature—the Lord is now rebuilding a new prayer army.

*Urgent Call To Pray For 3 months*

*And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.*
Romans 13:11 NKJV

The Lord is calling people who might not consider themselves to be intercessors to step into a 3-month special task force from Heaven— an assignment to pray and fill the gaps from October through the end of December.

There is a major shifting happening in 2023, and we need to bridge the gap and take a 3-month special assignment of prayer and intercession.

*The Lord Is Restoring The Watchmen*

Since many of the major watchmen of the Lord have gone to Heaven, the Lord is now preparing people to step into the place of a watchman in prayer.

*Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.* Ezekiel 3:17 NIV

A new power and urgency to pray is coming to people, and there will be a “new paradigm” or wineskin of prophetic intercession, and watchmen on the wall will start to emerge over the next few months.
This is a very exciting and powerful time for us.

New assignments and callings have been released; and as we step up and say “yes” to the Lord, you will find an amazing amount of strength, hope and revelation coming to you.
