Keeping the Gospel in focus in our daily walk. God said to Ezekiel, When I bring a sword upon the land, if the people set a man upon the wall to sound the alarm, when he blows the horn, if the people don't heed the warning, then their blood will be upon their own heads.

Faith must have an object of faith. The object of faith is Jesus Christ. This is the good news of the gospel: that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life... For he who was without sin became the perfect sacrifice for sin on our behalf that we may be made the righteousness of God in him. This is the message of the gospel of salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

Peter's challenge , whatever is bound is already bound in heaven and whatever is loosed, is already loosed in heaven. We are to line up with what already has been declared in heaven. It's done. Unchained we still wear our chains.
The Father's Business

We've been called to be ready and prepared when the master comes. How do you know how to be prepared? How do I go about my Father's business? Doing the Father's will is not an event. It's a process. When many enter the door of the church, they stop following him when when they leave each Sunday. Walking with our Lord requires a desperate hunger and a committed love. Luke 12:40 says the son of man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.

Jesus of Nazareth said, "there is a narrow way and few there be that find it." The Jesus of Orange County says, "everyone will go to heaven and there is no such thing as sin." Jesus of Nazareth said, "Broad is the way that leads to destruction."
Run Don't Walk

Men need to live every day in Psalm 51. Messing up is normal but how we respond when we stumble is to be quick to ask forgiveness. Men tend to run from the Lord when they sin but the model is to run to the Lord. The Lord is willing and kind, and waiting.
