Appreciate Mom

HAPPY MOTHERS’ DAY! Appropriate appreciation is a truly Christian activity and honoring motherhood is a Christian value. While our world may fail to appreciate or even demean mothers, God’s Word exalts it. Proverbs 31:10-31 is an acrostic wisdom poem of praise for God’s kind of wife and mother. The concept of “praise” for a goldy woman especially fills verses 28-31.

Happy Mother’s Day! God has provided numerous motherly figures in the Bible as role models for Christian women to follow. They were not perfect, but they were faithful. Hannah, Naomi, and the “Titus 2 Woman” are models for all Christian women today.
