As we continue in the Advent season, last week we talked about the promise that "the way," (Jesus) is given to us. "The way" that bring forgiveness, restoration and fulfillment. Today we embrace that promise given to us is coming. We know guests are coming we clean up the house. We make sure food is in the pantry. We put drinks in the fridge. We get ready because somebody is coming. What are doing to get ready for "the way" that is coming.

A Way Is Promised

The Advent season marks the time and season to prepare for what we celebrate on Christmas. The coming of Christ. Christ's coming into our lives is the fulfilling of a promise. A promise that was prophesied for centuries. It comes true. God holds true to his promise that was told to us by the prophets. Christ is now here. He is our waymaker. He is our wonderful counselor. He is our WAY out of no WAY!
