"The disciples fear of perishing was greater than their confidence in the presence of Jesus"

What fears cause us to lose our confidence in Jesus' presence?

"You're in the storm with His presence. You're in the storm for His purpose"

Rather than being the one with all the answers, Jesus is sometimes the one who asks us questions--questions that force us to decide what we really believe. As our Wonderful Counselor, Jesus asks "Why are you so afraid," "Do you believe I am able," "Do you want to get well," and "Why do you doubt?"

What miracle is waiting on the other side when you get personal with Jesus? Doubt is a part of faith, but do not stay in the doubt, but push through it by moving in faith. Setting aside that doubt and simply believing enables us to get personal with Jesus.

When Jesus asked, Do you want to be healed? He is asking, do you want to be well? A moment in the presence of Jesus can change everything.

When Jesus asks, "Do you believe I am able," what kind of faith in Him does Jesus honor? Rather than being the one with all the answers, Jesus is sometimes the one who asks us questions--questions that force us to decide what we really believe. As our Wonderful Counselor, Jesus asks "Why are you so afraid," "Do you believe I am able," "Do you want to get well," and "Why do you doubt?"
