Blessed Assurance

Psalm 144

July 15, 2017 • Anna Sadler

If you are stuck or in between, God is STILL moving. Don't be afraid to ask God

Psalm 144:15: "Yes, joyful are those who live like this! Joyful indeed are those whose God is the LORD."

The psalmists approach GOD in HIS GLORY, yet still their humanity is allowed to bleed through. So what we get are writers who are like you and I in the highest of highs and the lowest of lows–yet, they have the presence of mind to recognize Who GOD is and respond to it appropriately, anchored in the HOPE only GOD can give.

Psalm 147:1 "Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!" A praising community brings transformation. The psalmists approach GOD in HIS GLORY, yet still their humanity is allowed to bleed through. Good Ol' Fashioned Revival

July 22, 2017 • Chad Garrison

Revival...a renewal of interest in something that results in its becoming popular once more. Psalm 103:2, "Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me." Renew: the process of bringing somebody back to life, consciousness, or full strength. Psalm 85:4 "Restore us again, O God of our salvation, and put away your indignation toward us!" Refocus: the recovering of life, consciousness, or full strength. Psalm 145:15, "The eyes of all look to you in hope; you give them their food as they need it." Rise Up: a new interest in religion, or the reawakening of such interest Psalm 90:16, "Let us, your servants, see you work again; ket our children see your glory." The psalmists approach GOD in HIS GLORY, yet still their humanity is allowed to bleed through. So what we get are writers who are like you and I in the highest of highs and the lowest of lows–yet, they have the presence of mind to recognize Who GOD is and respond to it appropriately, anchored in the HOPE only GOD can give.

God's House

Have we made God's House something it's not? The Church is where you are. It is not a building or a place, but it is in us to represent Jesus wherever you go! Psalm 84:1-2: "How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, yes, faints for the courts of the Lord;my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God." The psalmists approach GOD in HIS GLORY, yet still their humanity is allowed to bleed through. So what we get are writers who are like you and I in the highest of highs and the lowest of lows–yet, they have the presence of mind to recognize Who GOD is and respond to it appropriately, anchored in the HOPE only GOD can give.
