Details We are very excited to announce that we are going back to Lost Canyon for our Illuminate Youth Winter Camp! Who: Junior High & High School Students 7th-12th grade When: January 5th-7th, 2024 Drop-Off: @ Illuminate Community Church at 4:00pm Friday, January 5th. Pick-Up: @ Illuminate Community Church at 2:00pm Sunday, January 7th. Travel: We will be taking 15 passenger vans driven by responsible adults. Meals: We will not stop for dinner on Friday, so please have your student eat before they get dropped off. We also will not stop for lunch on the way home. Students are encouraged to bring snacks and money for snacks we stop to fuel up. All other meals will be provided by Lost Canyon. After session Friday night Lost Canyon will be providing a late night snack for everyone. Where: Lost Canyon 1450 S. Perkinsville Rd Williams, AZ What: Lost Canyon is known as one of the best youth camp facilities in Arizona. We have partnered with a couple of other churches to rent out the campground all for ourselves. This means we have the ability and flexibility to put on a camp that will best fit our group. Our aim is to put on a camp that keeps students entertained, challenges them in their walk with Jesus, and creates once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Why: The goal for camp is not only to have an incredible time but most importantly to grow closer to Jesus. This happens through powerful times of worship, gospel-centered teaching, small group conversations, and being around other Christian students and leaders for a week! Over the years, camp has provided students the best opportunity to build relationships with other students and with God. What To Bring: • Sleeping bag, pillow, towel • Toothbrush, toothpaste, other toiletries • Flashlight • Casual clothing; clothes for lounging, hiking, sports, bonfires, etc. • Winter Jacket and clothes. It will be COLD! Check the weather as camp approaches as there is a possibility of snow at that time of year. • Bible, notebook, and pen. • Extra $$ for food on the road, as well as, for the gift store at the camp. What NOT to Bring: Gaming Systems Tobacco products, drugs, alcohol, and paraphernalia Firearms, weapons (of any kind) Pets or other animals A bad attitude Payment: Regular Rate: $220 (September 29th- November 15th) Late Registration: $240 (November 16th- January 2nd) $100 non-refundable deposit will secure your price range. We will no longer be able to accept students after January 2nd. We are looking for parents to come and at the camp and help in areas like the kitchen and dining hall, the coffee shop, and a few other areas around camp.
