Joel Ansett is an award-winning singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and heartfelt live performances. His sound combines folk and R&B, and beyond the genre, Artist Review wrote: "this music is soul therapy." His steady grassroots approach as an independent artist continues to gain momentum, thus far earning him over 40 million streams online, a Lennon Award, and several song placements in film/tv. His latest album “Layers” provides a reflective listening experience about unseen relational barriers - with strangers, loved ones, and God.

A B O U T T H E S H O W :

The inspiration for this tour is the 10 year anniversary of an album called The Nature of Us. It was my first album, crowdfunded by generous friends and guardians of song. We had zero marketing budget when it came out and it is you all, the listeners, who have made it so special. Songs like "Wonderfully Made," "Give Our Hearts Some Weight," and "Tragedy Is Not the End" have given us access to so many beautiful stories - and we want to celebrate by bringing those first songs back out on the road.
