“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”—were first addressed to “Israel, my servant Jacob,” yet in Christ belong equally to “offspring of Abraham,” Jew and Gentile alike. My aim is to show you how to meditate on those five promises during your trials, hold fast to the confidence they provide, and trust that God truly remains present—strengthening, helping, and upholding you through every challenge.
Faith—What Are We Really Talking About?
May 20, 2025 • Stuart Olyott • Ephesians 2:8–9
Faith is entrusting yourself to Jesus, expressed in knowing the gospel truth, believing it to be true, and trusting wholly in Him—the only channel by which God’s grace reaches our souls, just as a simple coupling links carriages to a locomotive. It isn’t a boastful record of deeds but the open hand that receives the free gift of salvation, like a beggar gratefully accepting a coin and looking up to say, “Thank you.”

I Was Predestined To Adoption: Praise God!
November 23, 2022 • Tim Conway • 1 John 3, Ephesians 1
Do you realize the profound love God the Father has bestowed on you by calling you his son and daughter? Believer, are you overflowing with praise to God because of the truth of your adoption? Sadly, we are not impacted by this truth as much as we should be.
The apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 1:5-6 that God, "predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved." May the Lord help us to all the more see and recognize what this love that the Lord has bestowed upon us, as John writes in 1 John 3:1, "See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are."

The Definition of the Church
Michael Durham
Although Christ and the Church are distinct and not the same, the Bible describes them as inseparable. You can’t have Christ without also having His Church. You can’t be united to Christ without also being united to His Church.
The Delusion of Do Not Religion
Craig Mussulman
There is a delusion that many are tricked into believing. It is the delusion that Christianity is a do not religion: don't do this but do this. They believe that the Christian's life is solely one of morality. But this is not impressive to the living God, and it has no power to stop the indulgence of the flesh. Is this your religion? Or are you trusting in Christ and obeying the Lord out of love for Him from the heart?
Jesus Christ
Mack Tomlinson
Whether you are lost or saved, Jesus Christ is the answer to every question and solution to every need that you have. No matter what season you're in, Jesus Christ is your one great need.
Jesus: Rescuer of the Condemned
Jeff Peterson
Those outside of Christ are prisoners who are condemned and sitting on death row. Yet God in His love has sent Jesus Christ to rescue condemned sinners. What about your sentence of condemnation? Have you trusted in Christ to save you?
Keep Going
Tim Conway
Does the reality of salvation by grace apart from works mean that we don't have to endure to the end? We can't allow our theological systems and preconceived ideas to cause us to not hear what Scripture is clearly telling us. Jesus says in Matthew 10:22, "The one who endures to the end will be saved."
A New Year's Sermon to Our Young People

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, “I have no pleasure in them”. – Ecclesiastes 12:1
The Failures of Old Testament Leaders
Nathan Rages • Judges 6—9
In this sermon, we look into the Old Testament and see that most of the good leaders start out well but finish badly, suffering moral failures later in their lives. Their sins all seem to fall into four problem areas: 1. Pride. 2. Choosing personal comfort (over personal sacrifice). 3. Putting family relationships first. 4. Friendship with the world. Knowing about their failures should help us avoid the same outcomes and cause us to appreciate the moral perfection of Christ in the Gospel.

Jesus Christ Has Authority Over Death
Geoff Thomas • Mark 5:21–43
The great hope of every Christian is that the grave will not be the end for them when they die. Jesus Christ will one day raise them up to everlasting life. Jesus has authority over death, and He proved this during His earthly life as He raised the dead back to life.
The Secret Things and the Revealed Things
Geoff Thomas • Deuteronomy 29:29
We’ve been given a Book that contains the revelation of God and who He is. Because this Book is given to us, we should expect to be able to understand most parts of it. But because this Book is about the eternal God, we should also expect that there will be some parts that exceed our human limitations of understanding. The secret things belong to God, but the revealed things belong to us.
