The Joy Of Life

Every season prepares us for eternity. “ For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12 “O proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. I Can't Get No Satisfaction

Everything a part from God is meaningless. Everything with God is meaningful. 1. Pleasure is vexation. “All King Solomon's goblets were gold, and all the household articles in the Palace of the Forest of Lebanon were pure gold. Nothing was made of silver, because silver was considered of little value in Solomon's days.” 1 Kings 10:21 “He built the throne hall, the Hall of Justice, where he was to judge, and he covered it with cedar from floor to ceiling.” 1 Kings 7:7 2. Wisdom is vain. “Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 3. Work is void. 4. Riches vanish. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:12b-13 Joy is found not is indulging in all that flesh desires; instead, joy is given by God to the man who pleases Him.
