We are seeking a heart change, not just conformity to a pattern of religion.
We fight sin with the weapons of grace.
We must make sure faith in Christ’s finished work at the cross on our behalf is at the core of everything we do in life.
There is a pursuit based on our effort, and then there is a pursuit based on God's work in us.
The gospel makes us new creations.
In the end nothing under the sun brings lasting fulfillment. We have to look beyond the sun.
The cross shows us both the uncompromising love and uncompromising justice of God.
Sin really is that bad because God is simply that good.
As humans we choose pleasure over an infinite God over and over again.
The gospel is about God’s making all things new.
God gives us the faith to endure and believe in the wonderful working power of the Gospel.
"We are made holy by His inexhaustible grace"
Before Christ we are rebels who are bound to hell, with Christ we are miraculously saved by our condition.
Christ died for our sins. He was buried and rose again according to Gods plan. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8). The gospel has to to do entirely and is centered on the work of Christ and His work alone.
