Colossians 1:1-14

We kick off our Fall 2022 series continuing a look at Paul's prison epistle to the Colossian church. We are led by Eric Reed, Minister to Men and Assistant to the Minister of Education at Houston's First. Looking at Paul's greeting and prayer, we explore the 6 areas God wants to chisel away from our life to reveal Christ's character.

We continue our study of Paul's prison epistle to the Colossian church with Tim Young, Minister of Education at Houston's First Baptist Church. Looking at the temptation to listen to all the dissonant voices of our culture in regards to Christ and the Gospel, Tim challenges us to walk in the Victory of Christ, being vigilant to the veracity of the Gospel.

Colossians 3:5-17

Our study of Colossians continues with Dr. Stephen Trammell, Executive Pastor of Houston's First Baptist Church. Turning from a focus on what Christ has accomplished for the Christ followers, Paul looks at practical living in a fallen world. Dr. Trammell entitles this talk "Holiness in Life" and shares 3 essentials for every man to practice in life.

Colossians 3:18-4:1

Our study in Colossians continues with Chad Chambers as he moves into the very practical living out of the Gospel. The twin spheres of family (marriage and parenting) along with work encompass most of our life. We will either live humbly and intentionally in these spheres or we will create chaos and confusion.

Fred Caldwell (President of Caldwell Companies and ministry leader within several ministries including JH Ranch, Outback Texas, and more) leads our study of the ending of Philemon while sharing with us a personal story of offense and forgiveness. No matter your season of life, this lesson on woundedness and forgiveness is applicable!!!
