Dinner with the Pastors

August 3, 2023 6:30pm Legacy Campus - Fellowship Hall If you’re new to Hopewell and would like more information about our church, join us for the next Dinner with the Pastors on August 3rd. You’ll hear about the history, vision, and ministries of Hopewell, and meet Pastor Lee and our associate pastors. The event is casual and the dinner is free, but we need you to sign up and let us know you’d like to come. Space is limited so register by July 30th. Be sure to list each person in your family that will be attending with you.
Sewing Ministry Monthly Meetings

9:30am-12:00pm Legacy Campus Sewing Room Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday The sewing ministry does many projects for their church, community, and international missions. Some of these projects include quilts for newborns, shut-ins, and Hospice patients. They sew bibs for nursing homes and they sew dolls that are given to children all around the world that present the gospel in their own language.

If you sing or play an instrument we would love for you to join us for a great night of fellowship with our existing Worship Team members, both choir members as well as our instrumentalists. Family Summer Kickoff 2023

June 11, 2023 6:30-9:00pm Victory Campus Parking Area The Hopewell Family Summer Kickoff is a carnival-like event for adults and kids alike. We'll have lots of food trucks, inflatable games, dunking booth, and lots more. This year we will end the event with a fireworks display. a safe place to come have fun with friends and family as we celebrate the beginning of the summer season together.
Men's Summer Golf League

Redbridge Golf Course in Locust. The cost is $20 and you pay the clubhouse directly. Tee time is 6:00 PM. The remaining dates are; July 10, 2023 July 17, 2023 July 24, 2023 July 31, 2023 August 7, 2023 August 14, 2023 Scoring will be using a Modified Stableford Format. Each player needs to provide an accurate 9- hole handicap on the registration. The maximum allowed handicap is 9, equaling 1 stroke per hole.
Women's Softball 2023

June 12th-August 10th Summer Women's Slow Pitch Softball. Register online, $50 per player, ages 16 and up, season starts on June 12th and ends on August 10th, games will be played on Mondays and Thursdays. Register by June 4th
Boy's Baseball Camp 2023
June 12, 2023
June 12-16 Boy's Baseball Camp is open for boys ages 7-12. Camp will be June 12th-16th from 8:00AM-11:00AM. Cost of camp is $100.00. Registration is through the Hopewell Recreation Website. Camp is lead by former college baseball players and local coaches. Players can bring their personal baseball equipment but we will also have equipment here. They also need to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Girl's Softball Camp 2023

June 12-16 Join high school softball coaches Kristie Oglesby (Providence Day School) & Emily Smith (West Stanly) for a week of fun and games. This half-day camp will offer an introduction to basic softball mechanics. We will use a variety of drills to cover throwing, groundballs & flyballs, baserunning, speed & agility drills, bunting, and hitting mechanics. We will use the slip-and-slide several times during the week to work on sliding. In addition to softball skills, we will play a variety of non-softball games to get the girls moving and having fun! Campers should bring water bottles, snacks, a change of clothes, a pair of water shoes/flip-flops, and a towel. Camp is from 8:00-11:00 June 12-16, 2023. Camp is open to girls ages 7-15. The cost of camp is $100.00. Register by June 4th

May 27th 7:00am-9:00am Men and boys ages 5+ Men's Breakfast and Prayer Walk Fellowship Hall - Legacy Campus Join us for a wonderful breakfast and a great time of fellowship followed by a Prayer Walk. Our goal is to have 500 or more in attendance and this is open to all men and boys ages 5+. A Be Strong Coin Challenge will be issued so for those of you who have not already received your coin, this will be an opportunity to accept that challenge. After breakfast we will learn how to prayer walk and then we will divide up and pray across both Victory and Legacy campuses. Register by May 22nd.

We have prayer, share God's word, eat and share a great time of fellowship.

The Brotherhood Ministry meets the first Sunday of each month. Meetings include a dinner, planning upcoming projects, and a devotional.
SIngle's Labor Day Retreat

Register for an amazing Single Adult retreat located in the mountains of North Carolina. This annual retreat is in it's 45th year and brings together singles from all over the country for a weekend of fun, fellowship and worship. Speakers include Pastor Freddy Johnson and Kris Swiatocho with worship by RK Praise.

We will have music and games. There will be corn hole, axe throwing, volley ball, and more. Bring your fold up chair and come join us for a fun filled night of fellowship.
Beach Camp 23

June 19th - 24th Fort Caswell at Oak Island Middle & High School Students $265 per student We invite all middle and high school students to attend Beach Camp 2023 at Fort Caswell on Oak Island. This year's camp theme is "Fortress " and is based on the armor of God and what it takes to prepare for battle against our enemy. Join us for a week of worship, teaching, small groups, sports, dramas, games, all at the beach. The middle schoolers get a full camp experience throughout the week but high schoolers will get the chance to go out into the community and do service projects and share the love of Jesus with the community of Oak Island. Cost is $265.00 per student. The cost includes camp materials, meals, lodging, camp t-shirt, and a Transit t-Shirt. Join us for a week of fun, fellowship, and serving as we are compelled to worship, live, love, and tell the Good News of Jesus Christ!
