It is stunning and staggering that God, the Creator and King of the universe, would love us - and love us with an enduring love that never quits! As John writes, “God is love”. His is a love that invites, attracts, and draws aching human hearts in to receive it and be transformed from the inside out by it. And it’s a love that as it transforms us, beckons us to share it with others with great generosity, charity, and kindness of heart - the same attitude of selfless and unconditional love that God first gave to us in His son Jesus. This week’s message begins a brief two week series reflecting on themes of giving thanks to God for His love and extending His love to others in His name.
