Through his person, work, and words Jesus Christ is the true form of the human and the true Israel—accomplishing the climactic act of redemption and providing the means and the model for how we embody the image of God.
Rather than assimilating or withdrawing, God calls all Christians to live as ambassadors amidst exile. As ambassadors we participate in God’s mission to redeem and mend creation.
