Easter at Hope

All Things New

March 31, 2024 • Pastor Mark Wilson • John 11:25, Revelation 21:4–5, 2 Corinthians 5:15–17, Ephesians 1:19–21

Easter is about more than historical church traditions; it's about the transformative power of the resurrection, that offers a new beginning and eternal life that starts now, not just after death. Easter is all about us bringing to God something that is old, broken, busted, and dead and God giving us new. This promise is underpinned by a new power—Christ's resurrection power—which enables believers to live renewed lives in the present despite the challenges of a broken world.   The promise of Easter and the Gospel really is best captured with this: “New begins now.”
