Sermon Points: We must have governing authority that is righteous and just. And that authority is God and His word. The reason why we need community development at all is because we do not play by God’s rules. We must be very careful to make sure we do not stray from biblical truth in our attempt to apply field research to our approaches to community development or any other topic. Textbooks and extra biblical works cannot become our authority. We have to be very careful not to give them a greater voice than we give the Bible.
