Most people don’t respond well to commands, but God’s commands are for our good. All throughout the Bible - Old Testament and New Testament, God gives us commands because they will make our lives better. He is not an overbearing ruler telling us what to do. He is a loving Father guiding his children. Let’s look at each of the 10 Commandments through this lens: What does God want FOR me?

Week 10 - Do Not Covet

In this message, we discussed the tenth commandment - "Do not covet." We explored how coveting affects relationships with others, ourselves, and God. We learned the importance of contentment, wisdom, and finding satisfaction in God rather than worldly possessions or comparisons to others. We should trust in God's provision and avoid jealousy and envy by focusing on our own spiritual growth and relationship with God rather than comparing ourselves to others.

Week 9 - Do Not Bear False Witness
