October is the month we set aside to honor and express our sincere gratitude to our pastors who give of their time, prayers, energy, love and support all year long. Paul reminds us to “regard them very highly in love because of their work” in 1 Thess. 5:13. To give the congregation an opportunity to express their love and thanks, the deacon board will have boxes designated for each pastor available in the narthex to allow you to drop off cards and gifts throughout the entire month of October. We also would like you to flood their mailboxes with notes or letters of thanks and encouragement.
