Hebrews 3

Hebrews Chapter 3 establishes the greatness of Jesus as compared to Moses. It says that Moses was a follower of God. He built God’s house just as he was commanded to do. He saw what God said about the future.

However, God is the builder of all things, and Jesus was found to be greater than Moses and worthy of more honor. He lives in the house of God as the Son. God’s people are what make up the house of Jesus, which is built up in faith and confidence in Christ.

Hebrews 1

The main purpose of Hebrews Chapter 1 is to show that Jesus Christ is superior to the angels. This superiority is shown by comparing Him to those that were written about in the Old Testament.

Hebrews 2

With many reminders and warnings, the purpose of the book of Hebrews was to inform Jewish Christians of the power of Christ and solutions that helped rid defiance among the masses. In Hebrews Chapter 2, the focus is on Christ’s superiority and the danger of ignoring God’s wishes.

Hebrews 4

Hebrews Chapter 4 is about the Sabbath being a day of rest. Those who were considered people of God could still look forward to the rest that had been promised to them by God. However, they should be careful not to fall short of this.
