The Apostle Paul told the Christians in Thessalonica to make it their ambition to lead a quiet life. When Christians rest in their significance to Christ, and His calling on their life, they can stop trying to find their significance from meddling in others business. Christians can win the respect of outsiders by not always having an opinion on everyone else. Nothing is more respectable for Christians than to overcome a grumbling, complaining, disposition for one of peaceful rejoicing in Jesus’ victory.
