A Summer's Journey

Following The Apostle Paul Through His Missionary Journeys

Jesus Revolution

August 13, 2023 • Pastor Kevin P. Horath • Acts 16:16–24, Acts 19:23–41

How does living out the Gospel, walking with mission, challenge the systems of oppression, brokenness, and sin in our community. Or does it? The Gospel really is countercultural. When believed and taken to heart, it should change society. It does that because it changes individuals. One heart at a time.

Preparing the Way

August 6, 2023 • Pastor Kevin P. Horath • Acts 19:1–8

God often prepares the way for the missionary. Before you share the gospel, God has been working in the person’s heart. So even if you do not see the results yourself, do not be discouraged. God can still use what you are doing!

Evangelism

July 30, 2023 • Pastor Kevin P. Horath • Acts 15:36–41, Acts 17:22–34

God has sheep that are not of our particular little fold. We can help others know about God through their already existing worldview - if we take the time to understand it. Ministry is relationships. Are you willing to invest in people - people who may be different than you - in order to share the Gospel?

Unexpected Faith

July 23, 2023 • Pastor Kevin P. Horath • Acts 13, Acts 14

Have you taken any journeys this summer? We hope you had a great summer! If you are back, we also hope you will join us as we take a final 2023 summer journey together through Paul's missionary journeys. As recorded in Scripture, Paul took three major missionary journeys throughout the Roman Empire. This series will look at each of these trips from a high overview and examine the overlapping themes present for each of them as we explore what it means to be a missionary today.
