Perhaps the "Parable of the Prodigal Son" should really be called "The Parable of the Man with Two Sons." This story has three main characters - the younger son, the older son, and the father. We have spent some time talking about the two sons. Today, on Father's Day, we are going to look closely at the character of the Father. What is so unique about the actions of the father in this story? How does the story end? You may be surprised and maybe even shocked. No doubt, the Pharisees found this story quite scandalous!
