As we reflect on Thanksgiving, I want us to pause and consider a different perspective: reasons we might find ourselves not giving thanks. This might sound surprising, especially as we're in a season of gratitude, but it’s crucial to understand how easy it is to drift from a heart of thanksgiving—and the consequences when we do.

Thanksliving – Thelema & Laud-ease

We are not to offer thanks to God only occasionally or only when great things are happening; instead, we are to give thanks in all circumstances. Today, we’ll explore what it means to live a life of thelēma (God’s will) and laud-ease (thanksgiving). Because Thanksgiving isn’t just a holiday we celebrate once a year; it’s a way of life, or as we’re calling it today, “Thanksliving.” Let’s dive into what it means to truly give thanks in all circumstances, as Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, and how we can transform our journey into one that brings joy and glorifies God.
