Despite our present suffering, we can be comforted knowing that Jesus not only experienced pain too, but He also grieves for His children.
When life becomes difficult, rely wholly on Jesus.

We have talked about this previously, but it is important to mention again. Paul reminded the Corinthian church that the foundational gospel message - Christ's atoning death, burial, and bodily resurrection - has been verified and passed down by the apostles. Christianity doesn't have anything to hide. We can go to the Bible, to the church, and to God with our questions and doubts. However, we must address those doubts...head on.
We must strive to be more like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, and less like the elder brother. We must treat our friends who have left the faith with love and respect, being eager to show them the same type of love Jesus shows to the lost.
