What’s the story?
A lot of you took some time to reflect on the past year and decade and made notes.
* Do you notice things you would have done differently? Conversations, decisions, etc...
* What if you could take all of that insight from the past decade and use it to make the next decade better?
* Wisdom is God’s answer to virtually all of life’s decisions.
* Wisdom is living every present moment intentionally, recognizing we are standing in the shadow of our future.
Jesus is building something—in you, in us, in Hillcrest.
* Wisdom is going to be our foundation.
MAP vs. COMPASS
* In life we often ask God to give us a MAP.
* Go here, visit there, spend here, save there, say yes here, say no there, move there...
* But that’s all INFORMATION. Info is everywhere and it is not very valuable anymore.
Wisdom is different from information in that wisdom draws INSIGHT from the information you have.
