SPIRITUAL GIFTS - a set of special abilities that God has given you to share his love & to serve others.
1 Peter 4:10
God has given gifts to each of you from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Manage them well so that God's generosity can flow through you.
A spiritual gift is:
* a God-given SPECIAL ABILITY given to every believer at conversion by the Holy Spirit.
* to SHARE God's love and to STRENGTHEN the body of Christ.

4 Common Traps:
1. Comparison - places greater value on the more visible gifts.
2. Projection - expecting others to be good at the things were good at.
3. Rejection - I can't have that gift...
4. Deception - when you believe you have gifts you don't actually have, which distracts you from the gifts you do have.
