It's Time: Christmas Eve at Highland

December 24, 2021 • Rev. John Bowling

Christmas Eve comes to Highland Methodist! We complete our season of waiting with our Christmas Eve Celebration. Join us with our 5PM live stream as we welcome the Christ child.

Wait Upon the Lord - Week Four - December 19 - 11AM

December 19, 2021 • Rev. John Bowling • Psalm 9:1

The season of Advent is characterized by waiting—waiting upon the Lord for his presence to be revealed to us on Christmas. In our Advent new worship series, “Wait Upon the Lord,” we look back in Scripture at those who waited upon the Lord for his promises to come to pass through the Christ Child. This week, we explore how Zechariah’s waiting days for John the Baptist’s birth were filled with great gratitude for the Lord’s promise about to be fulfilled. In these remaining waiting days before our Savior’s birth, we are ever more grateful for the arrival of the Promised One.
