When Israel groans and cries out, God listens. And in listening God "remembered" the covenant with those who first believed. This morning we learn how God keeps and honors covenant while taking note of the suffering of people in need. Aren't you glad we gather to worship a God who remembers to stretch back a hand and keep a promise? (Exodus 2:23-25)
