If we do that, we forgo the truly superior life available to us in Christ!  The author of Hebrews deals with just these issues for those thinking of returning to Judaism. He warns them and encourages them to persevere in Christ. In this first chapter, we learn that God has spoken to us in the greatest way possible - through Jesus.
