Now that we have seen the differences between a fan and follower and see that Christ calls people to be followers, what are some of the specifics of becoming a follower of Christ? Today we want to ask, who actually can become his follower and consider the cost of following?
Which Jesus Am I Following?

What do we expect when we follow Jesus? Do we expect Him to meet our physical desires? Do we expect that He must make sure we understand everything and that He makes it easy for us? There are some who want to follow that “Jesus.” But that is not what is offered someone who is to follow Him. They must follow Him. Which Jesus are you following?
Fan Or Follower

Probably everyone reading this likes Jesus. We like the things he said, we like the things he did. In that sense, all of us could be considered fans of Jesus. However, to truly be a Christian requires more than being a fan of Jesus. He called people to follow Him. We are going to examine our lives in the light of Scripture over the next several weeks and ask if we are just fans or are we followers of Christ.
