You Matter
August 23, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
Paul wraps up his letter to the Romans in a far more personal way. While he has communicated some important theology and practical steps for living, it all comes down to relationships between people. People matter and knowing them matters. Let’s learn how each of us matter and who we matter to.

August 16, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
Paul lived a God Glorifying Life. He was all about bringing glory to God through ministering to people. While we haven’t been called to be Paul, we have all been called live Godly lives. How can we live that kind of life when it becomes difficult in this world? Paul gives us some ways to help us in living a God glorifying life through this passage.

How should we deal with and treat others regarding a conviction we have about a matter that the Bible does not give specific guidelines on or how should we respond to others that have convictions regarding things we find acceptable regarding these matters?
Christian Obligations
August 2, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
As Christians, the Lord has given us great freedom. But as Christians, we still have obligations. These are not needed for our salvation, but they are to be observed for God’s glory and our own good. What are our obligations as Christians within our society?

The Complete Sovereignty Of God
July 5, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
In Romans 9 Paul argues for God’s sovereignty in all things including our salvation as He discusses the Jewish people and their relationship with God to confirm God’s sovereignty to help those who are in Christ to know that God is able to, and does, keep every promise He has made so that we who trust in Christ by faith may be assured of our eternity with a loving God.
The Law And The Christian
June 21, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
In Romans 6, Paul dealt with those who think they can do whatever they want now, even live sinfully. Now Paul turns to those who think they need to follow “the rules” in order to be a Christian. What we find is that our only hope for living is a relationship with Christ. What then do we need to know about “the Law?”
The Blessings Of Justification
June 7, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
In the Christian sense, being justified in Christ means being made right before God through our faith in Jesus Christ. It is not something we can do for ourselves, and while this justification is a blessing in itself, there are also many other blessings that this act has done for those who trust in Jesus.
Questions & Answers, Bad News & Good News
May 24, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
We all have questions when what we have believed gets challenged. Well, the Jews had some questions for Paul that Paul seeks to respond to briefly. Ultimately, he leads them to the bad news about themselves that prepares them for the good news of Jesus Christ. In today’s world, many continue to have questions about Christianity. We need to be prepared to answer, but we also need to share with them the reality that they are without hope in themselves (bad news) so we can share the good news of true hope in Jesus Christ.
Divine Judgment
May 17, 2020 • Pastor Scott Kircher
It is through Christ alone and the power of the gospel that salvation is gained. Paul is speaking to the religious people of the day, the Jews, who are thinking that by their family ties and ritual acts, they could count on being in heaven. But Paul informs them also that if they are counting on something other than Christ alone they too will face Divine Judgment
