Today we remember Jesus’ entrance into Jeruslaem to the cheers of the crowds who were looking for a messiah to free them from Roman rule. But Jesus was no temporary leader bringing temporary freedom. Jesus is the Messiah who was prophesied to come? Today we will consider the prophecies regarding the Messiah so we can see that Jesus truly is the Messiah and that we should believe in Him as our only hope for salvation!

There are those that think the New Testament is plan B in God’s story of redemption. The death and resurrection of Jesus for the salvation of men has always been THE plan of God. In fact, the Old Testament prophecies and patterns consistently show the shadows of the reality that is found in Christ. We can see these shadows clearly in the feasts of Israel that have been fulfilled and will be fulfilled in Christ.
