Phil is nationally recognized for his expertise with the IRS and he has helped thousands of clients across the US successfully resolve all types of complex IRS issues.
Phil is also actively involved in many non-profit organizations and charities close to his heart and some of his most rewarding work comes through his philanthropy. Phil has built a small business empire over the years and success has only increased his determination and desire to help others. He has a strong passion for people and helping them reach their full potential in life. Phil is a graduate of University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance.
STEVEN BRAY, CEO
Since 1984 Steve has been the CEO for Power Plus, a company he acquired through a leveraged buyout in 1984. He guided its growth from $300,000 to over $160 million in revenue through eighteen acquisitions and integrations. Steve has been the catalyst for the company to continually push for new ideas and new business lines. Originally starting with temporary power, Steve’s company quickly became a leading provider of temporary power solutions, including the provision of portable power from 25kw up to 4 megawatts, pole line distributions, utility design and installation, and 24/7/365 mission critical power group. His vision of services now caters to a wide variety of market segments including the refinery, utility, construction, emergency services, financial, medical, data and event industries. In 1999, Steve was a distinguished speaker at Boston University where he gave a presentation on the “Mission Critical Crisis” as it related to Y2K. In 2006, Steve was presented with the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the energy sector category. He has been in the electrical industry since 1975; and is a Master Electrician, licensed in five states.
In 2005, God gave Steve a vision to teach people about generosity. With this vision the Giving University was formed with the mission to instill, demonstrate, and promote generosity through a process of informed charitable giving. The “High-Impact Generosity” class is seven-weeks long, two hours per week. Students learn: How to identify your areas of passion; Evaluate how well organizations are impacting others; Balance their spending, saving and giving; See how generosity done right can have a greater impact; overcome objections to giving; see the best ways to address poverty; understand why people give; and understand entitlement and materialism.
