Religion is a prison that feels reassuring. It promises us comfort and a sense of security while removing freedom piece by piece. The good news of Jesus is that He took the punishment and wrath of God on sin, and we are free in Him, with no need of religion or false senses of security. We can know we are free if we are in Jesus!
