Application Questions: 1. The pattern of discontentment, doubt the God really loves you, and then deciding that trusting God and waiting for him isn't working. Does this ring true of your life right now? 2. Do you believe this statement is true? You will never find genuine peace and joy and fulfillment in life until you are able to give yourself freely in unselfish self-giving love. If so, how does this affect you and your life? 3. Are there patterns in your life you need to put away? Read Colossians 3.5-9. 4. Read Ephesians 4.1-2 & Colossians 3.12-14. Is this the way you treat others? Those closest to you? 5. Have you decided to make these commitments of Jesus this weekend? How has it gone for you so far? #1 Turn Away from all those other things that distract you from a simple trust in Jesus... set aside all those other things that you’re looking to to quench the thirst of your soul... #2 Turn Toward Jesus and ask Him daily to fill you up to overflowing with living water... with the Holy Spirit. #3 Turn Outwards by asking Jesus to open your eyes to the thirst of the world around you... and ask Him to give you wisdom and courage and boldness to be that fifth witness for Him in the world around you.
