When we yield fully to Him, we find the contentment and peace our hearts have been searching for. True freedom is not found in striving, but in trusting the One who reigns over all. As Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,” and it is the first step toward a surrendered and content life. Fear God. Surrender fully. Live content.

Evan Vela is a dynamic speaker, passionate leader, and dedicated servant of Christ. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Business Management (pre-law)—Gig ’em!—he now serves as a Journeyman for the North American Mission Board, where he actively supports their mission to reach communities with the hope of the Gospel.

For the past three years, Evan has traveled extensively, speaking to thousands of students across the country. His engaging communication style, combined with his heart for evangelism, has inspired countless young people to pursue a deeper relationship with Christ and live out their faith boldly.
