Worship begins with great anticipation (Psalm 100:4; Matthew 2:1-8), recognizing the long-awaited arrival of the King foretold in Numbers 24:17. True worship is expressed with joy, reverence, and action (Matthew 2:10; Psalm 95:6), as seen in the wise men's rejoicing and their offering of treasures. Worship is never partial—it involves the whole heart and tangible expressions of devotion (Matthew 2:11; Psalm 47:1; Psalm 95:1-2). Finally, worship ignites a divine exchange, transforming those who seek God, just as the wise men departed "by another way" after encountering Jesus (Matthew 2:12).
