The Great Debate

Pt.2

August 11, 2024 • Jason Sharpe • Acts 5:1–10, Acts 4:36–37, Psalm 103:14, Acts 13:51–52, Acts 2:46–47

Pastor Jason addresses the reality of hypocrisy in our lives, both as victims and as those who have been guilty of it. Drawing from Acts 4:36-37 and Acts 5:2-11, the message encourages us to confront hypocrisy with honesty, humility, and a renewed commitment to God's calling.

We've All Been Hurt by Hypocrisy:

Message: Hypocrisy can cause deep wounds, but by recalibrating our expectations and trusting in God's understanding (Psalm 103:14), we can heal and refocus on the calling God has placed on our lives (Acts 13:51-52).

We've Been Guilty of Hypocrisy:

Message: Recognize that God sees everything (Hebrews 4:13). We regain strength by confessing our sins (James 5:16) and must refuse to return to hiding, living authentically in our faith (Acts 2:46-47).

Pastor Jason Sharpe calls us to address hypocrisy with integrity and to seek healing and strength in God's truth, ultimately leading us back to a sincere and vibrant walk with Him.
