Where What If Becomes What Is

What If One Decision Really Could Affect The Rest Of Your Life?

August 18, 2019 • Mike Martindale

We are going to ask some hard questions: What if I left church with hope than guilt? What if I could actually understand what the Bible said? What if what happened today could really affect the rest of my life? What if my Monday was different because of my Sunday? Jesus said, "I have come that they (that's us) could have life and have it more abundantly." (John 10:10) That means He is not in the habit of being our 'buzz kill,' but He want you and I to have a life that matters and makes sense. In fact, one of the early leaders in the church commented this way: "Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between "Yes" and "No." He is the one whom I preached to you, and as God's ultimate "Yes," he always does what he says." (2 Corinthians 1:19) This is where "What if" becomes "What Is!"
