It’s the most controversial, discussed, and misunderstood book in the Bible. We even struggle with its name. People refer to it as “RevelationS” - that is, the book of many revelations! Actually, the writing is much more streamlined than that, and it is singular in its revealing. It tells us in its opening line exactly what it is: The Revelation of Jesus Christ… (v1). The Greek word for it is apokalupsis, and it simply means “a disclosure.” So the book is simply the story of one revelation: Jesus Christ as He moves human dominion on earth to a conclusion - as He translates us from here to eternity. This is “the rest of the story…"
